A little Birthdaypresentscabtroll… plugged a scabby flower from the green gras of Norftown.

Comics werden ja heutzutage immer realistischer und brutaler. Die unschuldige jugend ist all der Verkommenheit und Sittenverrohung schutzlos ausgeliefert. Das muss doch nicht sein! (Vor allem, weil ich nix davon hab! Mal ehrlich!)
Deshalb hat der Kölner Comicstammtisch ein Zeichen gesetzt und die folgenden Bilder einer freiwilligen Zwangszensur unterzogen.
Dementsprechend wurden die Gewaltdarstellungen verharmlost, unsittliches Verhalten öffentlich als Nicht-zur-Nachahmung-empfohlen gerügt, der Konflikt bekam eine harmonische Wendung, sämtliche Pistolen wurden zu Walkie-Talkies aumgerendert und, was am wichtigsten ist: die Mundwinkel zeigen jetzt auch mal nach oben!

Im Zuge der Familienfreundlichkeitspolitik muss ich nun eine Warnung aussprechen:

Achtung!
Der nachfolgende Comic beinhaltet für Jugendliche möglicherweise ungeeignetes Material, wie Drogenmissbrauch, Nacktheit und gesellschaftlich nicht-akzeptierte Homosofterotik. Jugendliche unter 16 Jahren sollten das folgende Material nur in Begleitung eines wohlwollenden, väterlichen Freundes oder Päderasten Ihrer Wahl genießen.

Just a little Joker-scribble I found in my scetchbook. (I think I already told you before: whenever I’m bored, I tend to draw Batman-Characters.)

I’m feeling too sick right now to do a proper coloration, but at least I would add some green and yellow, colours I feel somewhat related to at the moment. (Damn cold! Snrrrf!)

I know, complaining about the german weather isn’t very original, but still: it is cold and gloomy and right now it’s raining like someone opened a f***ing dam! So, instead of swimming to my yoga class, I’d rather stay at home for one more hour, have a nice breakfast and flip through a few holiday pictures from Cordoba.
We had some cloudy days there as well, but… what a difference!

And don’t forget:

Today is the 11th of November (Der Elfte Elfte)!
So, lousy weather or not, carnival starts at 11 a.m. and 11 minutes (11 Uhr 11)!

It will at least bring a bit of Inner Sun to a few (i.e. an enormoua drunk, dancing and singing crowd!) of the more bekloppte people here in Cologne.

Alaaf!

Yesterday I returned back home after 5 wonderful days at the ANIMACOR animation festival in Cordoba, and as it usually is after a festival trip, I can’t (or don’t want to!) get used to Germany again.
I miss Cordoba in so many ways - the weather (after a more chilly beginning on Wednesday finally the sun came out and we had a sunny, warm november-Picnic near the River!), the food (lots of tapas, vino tinto and a lot of lots more of cervesa!), the language (a funny, international mixture of spanish, german, french, dutch and all kind of weird-pronounced english-versions from all over the world) , the people I’ve met (see: language!) and their great animation movies (from which I’ve seen far too little, I’m afraid)…

…I still feel like I’m walking on air!

And that’s why…
a) I write this in english (at least untill I get a proper translation tool plugged in) and
b) I now show you first some pictures of the most beautiful, dreamy (and airy) landscapes I saw on my flight to Spain.

Flights are usually not very much fun, but the view from my window seat was totally worth it. What a start for a wonderfull trip!
